Like Wolverine, I too have an origin story. Read it, I'll wait.

TDLR: I've been diagnosed with Lupus and Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome, on top of a plethora of other fun-filled health issues, and the morbid obesity wasn't helping anything. Decided to get a vertical sleeve gastrectomy, which is a type of weight loss surgery. Life is much, much better.
